The Aztec or Jacobean lily, is one of only three known species of the genus Sprekelia in the amaryllis family. Listed as hardy to zone 8 - and even then it's considered tender - these beautiful flowers only last for a few days. And unfortunately they do not consistently flower every year so when they do, enjoy them.
