I have lilly of the valley in the front of my house facing north, and peonies in the back yard facing east. Both have large brown spots on them and I have no idea what has caused it. I can't see any unusual bugs but am worried about something in the soil. Lilly of the Valley is against the house but the peonies are in a pretty large flower bed away from the house but surrounded with many other plants. I'm new to the home so unsure of the history, but I really don't want to lose these plants. Any help is greatly appreciated!

peony are susceptible to rust and powdery mildew. not sure if lov are also.

how much sun does the peony get all day?? if not enough, it'll be even more susceptible to the fungal issues. (as in any rain or dew will stick around longer before drying out).
