spider plant

    I have a spider plant that is over 5 years old. when i brought it in this summer i noticed that they were pod growing on it this is the frist year that this has happened is it something that i should be concerned about can someone give me information on this

    So far as I know, these are the result of pollinated flowers---seed pods. Not to worry. I have never tried growing new plants from them, but probably would be interesting to give it a go! If you let the pods turn brown they will eventually open up---small black seeds inside.
