spider mites!!?!!?

    I was misting my plant when I noteased strings appering, could this be spider mite?? also I dont know what this plant is? "the two leaf pictures" Hope you guys can see it.

    yes, could be spider mites. if any of the wispy strings look like a regular spider web, then it might just be a small spider found that a good location...you'll be able to see the spider, if that's the web-maker. spider mites are barely visible to the naked eye and their webs are usually made with no distinct pattern...which looks like what you have going (unless the web was disturbed and became broken).

    mist very, very well and continue to mist every day for a couple weeks and that should rid the plant of the mites (they like dry conditions). then, keep up misting once or twice a week and you should be fine.

    looks like it might be a peace lily.

    thanks its a pece lilly, Ill start misting it every day now for a wile.
