Spathiphyllum Domino (Peace lily)

I cut away a small rooted section from the mother plant last year and now the new growth is coming in REALLY white. You can see some of the original leaves still on the plant with their (marbled appearance)
With the lack of, or little chlorophyll in the new leaves, does this mean they (leaves) will be short lived? Maybe the plant itself will now be just a VERY SLOW grower?

I have a very similar plant, with almost white leaves, and I have had it for more than
4 years, so I am sure yours will survive.

 

Thanks for the information. I have a feeling then that my plant will not win any prizes for the fastest grower in town, but that's ok, it's better then seeing it bare from leaf drop.

 

And keep it out of direct sun and the white will burn

It gets a lot of bright indirect light and some dapple sun when the sun comes around to the front (west window with trees:)
