Southern Wisconsin Prairie Plant

    This plant was very tall (around 5 ft), which makes me doubt it was any of the things I thought it might be. It was growing in a managed prairie along with big bluestem, purple coneflower, rattlesnake master, great blue lobelia and cream gentian.

    Any ideas about family or genus appreciated.
