Hello folks - both the attached plants are in the Southern China Collection at Melbourne RBG. I am unable to match to anything on that bed plant list. The plants may not necessarily be from Southern China. Thanks in advance for any help.
1 is possibly Rhinacanthus beesianus - http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=242343419 - it's growing in Sydney too. 2,3 probably a Boehmeria sp. There are 25 spp. in China, mainly in the south.
Thank you once again Tony. After cross-referencing, viewing other beds, etc., have confirmed Rhinacanthus beesianus and Boehmeria nivea var nipononivea
