I'm looking for a local (Vancouver) source for Blue Poppy. My grandmother had this growing in her garden 20 years ago and I'm very sure she didn't get hers on the internet. Can anyone help? Thanks.
Re: HIMALAYAN BLUE pOPPIES Last year (I think - maybe two years ago?) the shop at the UBC Botanical Garden had a lot of them, but I seem to recall being told that they had been donated by a garden friend and so they may not be available this year.
Re: HIMALAYAN BLUE pOPPIES cg--these are being produced by a few growers in the area now, and I see them in "all" the garden centres in spring. For sure, Phoenix Perennials in Richmond will have them, but you might phone first to check that they have arrived. Mine has been easy in a well watered spot with afternoon shade.
