I have a semi-dwarf spartan apple tree that's about 9 feet tall, 3-4 years old. It's healthy, but I'm not buying the whole 'self-fertile' claim, as I only got two small apples this year. I'd like to graft another variety for cross-pollination, maybe golden delicious, I read that it blooms around the same time. Where can I purchase or trade scion whips? Thanks.
