I need help in identifying this plant. I've had it for a very long time. I've never repotted it and it has a baby growing. What is it? What do I do? I want it to keep growing. This is in my bathroom and has a skylight above it.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Appears to be Dracaena marginata, Madagascar Dragon Tree.

that is what the plant is and just keep doing what you have been doing .. it is more like Congrats on the new baby :) mayb once the new plant has grown for a while ya might want to consider transplanting it to a bigger pot .. but for now i wouldnt worry about it right now .. it looks like it is doing jsut great ..

If and when you do want it in a separate pot, slice the rootball between it and the mother so it will start off with roots of its own in new soil.
