    Hi there,

I recently acquired a new plant which is not in the best shape. I am hoping to rejuvenate it but I need to know what it is before I can help it along. The foliage is grass like.

Is there anyone who can help identify this?

    Assistance would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Jerry

Might be Beaucarnea recurvata, ponytail palm.

Thanks very much for a fast response. It could very well be a ponytail palm. I would guess the poor condition is related to over watering. I also doubt that the plant has been fertilized in a year. I have drained all excess water and will re-pot in a month.

    Thanks
