A quicker regeneration of leaves of grasses will occur by : (clipping / cutting / grazing) ?

Yes its to do with hormones. When plants are pruned they produce auxins, which are growth hormones.
Grasses are unusual tho because the growing point of the leaf is at its base (intercalary),which is why you can mow it over and over. Other plants have the growing point near the tip of the leaf ir stem/bud so if that is damaged it has to produce a new one.
