Schefflera rhododendrifolia, would be nice to find it one day in bloom, can it happen in our climate?

Idesia polycarpa, VanDusen garden has this tree and it was blooming there but I don't remember fruits. But I saw these trees with bunches of red berries in Japan, really something! We are ready to wait when this Idesia grows enough to bloom and to fruit
