Something from Little Shop of Horrors?

    My Mum has found this growing in her garden. Hope someone can help me identify it before she goes crazy asking everyone who walks down the street.

    Looks like Eucomis bicolor, Pineapple Lily.

    I agree, totally looks like Eucomis bicolor. I love the snake like stems, reminds me of the Amorphopallus plants

    Hey! I have the plant that is under the plant in question. It's a long trailing plant that puts out yellow flowers in the early summer. Anyone happen to know what it is called?

    Could anyone tell me about overwintering the Pineapple Lily? I'm guessing it should be removed from the container I have it in and stored for winter, but what is the best way to store it? Thanks!
