I haven't seen the monster but it only eats the tops, on the Fuschia it nips in half all the tender new shoots. The Monarda is chewed through on the top stems, it actually has gets holes in the stems. There is no sign of anything eating the leaves of the Fuschia, the Monarda looks like there is a leaf chewer as well. The plants are nowhere near each other so I am at a loss. I have put out slug bait around the Monarda, but the plants are still being eaten. The other plants around it are fine. What might this critter be and how do I get rid of it?
