I have a garden for vegetable. The soil is not thick enough, less than 4 inchs on most places. I need add more soil.

I see an ad that sells mushroom manure, I am thinking I can buy a truck of it to add to my garden. They also provides soil mix, which is consistent of

    50%mushroom manure
    25%soil
    25%sand

the 25% soil sounds good to me since I really need soil, but I am not sure the 25% of sand in it.

So should I just by musroom manure or the soil mix? Or neither of them and go other way. I did purchase some bags of black earth etc. from Homedepot, but they are not good, a lot of moisture that made them hard to handle, and contains sticks etc.

    Any suggestion?

I think I would go for the mix the sand will add some drainage. I would also consider seeing how the year goes and perhaps add something else next year if you need it.
