In The Garden: Some More ID's

    Hello

    I have some more plants I'm hoping members might be able to help me with.

    All were taken in Stanley Park. The big red pods I was told were Magnolias?? Not sure if that is correct.

    Any help or suggestions is much appreciated.

    Heres my shot, left to right, top to botom

    1. Musa ensete
    2. Unsure, could be several things
    3. A Dahlia cultivar
    4. Echinacea purpurea
    5. Anemone x hybrida (Anemone japonica)
    6. Don't know
    7. Don't know
    8. Magnolia seedpods
    9. Arum italicum seedheads or perhaps another aroid.
    10. Tricyrtis hirta
    11. Kirengeshoma palmata
    12. Osteospermum/Dimorphotheca
    13. Dogwood fruits, probably Cornus alba
    14. Another Dahlia, just opening?

    13. Looks more like Symphoricarpus to me.

    #2 - Plectranthus scutellarioides cultivar next to probably another Plectranthus species.
    #3 - Zinnia violacea cultivar
    #7 - Echinops sp. - well, probably, hard to tell
    #13 - Symphoricarpos albus
