Whoops, even I should have known that. And yet perhaps it was all that fight-or-flight adrenalin that kept me from recognizing it. Thanks -- - David
sorry David, I couldnt resist taking a poke at a vulnerable honest question.. no harm intended :) Glad I could help you smile Bill.
That's okay. I'm capable of having a little fun poked at me without collapsing. As is obvious from some of my posts, I am completely ignorant in this area, and I'm grateful for the help you folks have provided. - David
Hi David: You are doing just fine. Change the shape of the leaves and I bet I can make a case that this plant is a new, improved Ipomoea! We've already seen plants that we all know but do we really know them? Texas A&M University cites 6 different forms of Field Bindweed as a weed but we have lumped all of those forms that we know of into one. Tolguacha and Jimsonweed are two different plants but many people have not seen both of them to know the difference in them. Even though we try to be precise and name plants by their proper classification it can be quite difficult to do sometimes. A pretty flowered shrub will have more time spent on the classification of it than a noxious weed that no one really wants to have in their yard will. Then again, not many people have seen a Rugosa Rose and I know not many people have seen that Peony you showed us. Keep up the good work. Your photography is excellent. Best regards, Jim
I'm wondering if I'm looking at another "much-feared petunia," here, or at something else entirely. Thanks, David
