Wildflowers: Some Kind Of Mistletoe?

    This plant has glomed on to a Rhododendron indicum shrub I have in the yard (in Colombia). Can you tell me what it is?

    It's not a mistletoe - those don't form lianas.

    Check out the strangling vines in the Bignoniaceae - the leaf shape looks awfully familiar to me, and if I'm right when it blooms it has pinkish trumpet-type flowers....

    Wonder if it might be a Gnetum? Can you get a close-up of the things in the leaf axils in pic #2, please?
