I've changed the name of the calendar from "Public" to "BC Public Events", since the calendar has only been used for local events. The larger change is that contributors to the forum (those with 40 posts and members for > 30 days) can now add events to the public calendar. If you're a member of a local plant society or club, this is another way you can promote your group's activities. In the spirit of these forums, the ability to add events is not intended to create a mechanism for businesses to promote their wares or services.
