    Can someone tell me what this is please? Found growing down along the creek in Swan Creek Park near the City of Tacoma.

    Yep that's the one. According to Pojar and MacKinnon it is an Asian ornamental that escaped cultivation and has become established in moist bottomlands of the lower Fraser River valley and occasionally in western Washington. I never would have guessed this species.
