Soil Testing Kits

    Hi everyone,

    I'm new to the message board. Does anyone use a home soil testing kit that will give you readings on pH and NPK? I hear about sending your soil sample away to a lab, but I was wondering if there were any decent soil testing kits out there that are worth trying out.

    most garden centers will carry som ebasic soil test kits. Acouple vials and indicator chemical pills you swoosh around with a bit of water and compare to a color chart. a proper soil test at a lab will run you $65 or more.
