... and just order water. What are these, please? The first one is nearly 1 m tall now, and I had expected it to flower but am still waiting. I thought initially it might be a poppy, but now I'm not so sure. If I can expect something spectacular, I'll leave it be, but otherwise I'll just yank it to make space for Cleomes. The second is about 6" tall and has just produced this odd bloom head. The whole plant is pubescent with fine, long, white hairs. The third reminds me of some chamomiles, and is itty-bitty. It's literally everywhere underfoot in the garden.
Thanks, David. The third one is definitely Cotula australis, and out it comes! Searching on Gnaphalium and the like for the second plant, I find that my plant is closest in colour, leaf-shape, and flower style to the recently-moved Helichrysum luteoalbum, which makes more sense than Gnaphalium in terms of distribution.
Yeah, I had nothing for the punchline on that one. Do you have any idea what I'm looking at with that first plant? Or does it need to flower?
Meh. I was hoping to have this resolved fairly soon - and it looks like it just wants to put out more leaves. All the same, I don't have any GA3, so I guess I'll just have to wait.
