What are the some of the smaller varieties of red and green dissectums? From my research and experience, it seems that Red Dragon is one of the smaller red ones. It is certainly the slowest growing JM in my garden.

Not to be argumentative but the true inaba shidare I have seen is a bit on the vigorous side. Many of them seem to be mislabeled these days, but 8 to 12 inch growth seems pretty typical on a healthy specimen. Red filigree lace may be the smallest I have seen with the exception of maybe baby lace, and red dragon seems quite slow as well. Green filigree has been slow for me too.
