I disagree, oxalis has 5 petals. And I have oxalis flowers from the same forest, they are pink and large
Ah! I was looking mainly at the foliage - the flowers are something else coming up between the Oxalis leaves. The flowers aren't clear enough for me to tell what they are in the absence of visible foliage, perhaps something Brassicaceae?
Mustard family, I've seen the same one in the same forest community. It's a Cardamine, Dentaria... If you go to one of the visitor centers they have wildflower information. I've got 4 wild plant posters I bought at a ranger station along 199, this plant will be on one of them but they are still rolled up and inside the plastic wrap.
Ignore the Oxalis oregana leaves, which are throwing some people off. The 4-petaled flower is as Ron states: Cardamine, and I believe Cardamine californica. There are photos in the link that show both forms of the leaves.
