In The Garden: Small white flower, legume looking pods !

    Seeds black, maybe 2 mm long

    Whole plant (as I saw it) maybe 16" tall, none of the individuals I saw had branching stems.
    Any ideas ?

    Maybe Catharanthus roseus? The flowers are usually pink, but white cultivars are available.

    That's what I'd say, too. They're a nuisance weed for me, and I have both the white and pink flowered varieties.
