Does anyone know what this plant is that growing among the grass? It's very low growing, stays very close to the ground and there is a lot of it dispersed throughout my lawn. I'd like to know what it is so I can determine the best way to get rid of it. Location is Southern Ontario Canada EDIT: I think its a kind of speedwell according to iNaturalist when I submit the image to the app, However it's not clear which one it is exactly. Might be perennial.
I think I'd concur with that. This page has Integrated Pest Management options: https://www.northeastipm.org/schools/pests/speedwell/
Why 'get rid of it'? It doesn't look like it's doing any harm, not smothering the grass, and (assuming it is a speedwell) the flowers, though small, are pretty, and provide food for pollinators. A lawn with wild flowers is better than one without.
