Small berry bush and thorny tree

    I let these grow and Im wonder what they are. Native plants of south Texas.

    1st pic is the small shrub
    2nd pic is up close of same shrub
    3rd pic is of the thorny tree

    thanks! I got 2 growing next to the fence which could have come from bird droppings? Thanks for the help! Now to positively ID the thorn tree

    you know what I think youre right on money with Huisache..mine might now be old enough to bloom?
