Site problem?

Encountered much difficulty in accessing this website using Firefox 28.0 and IE 11.0 running in Windows 7. The site name was displayed in the title bar but the site would not load. It started responding after numerous attempts but delivered only partial pages before aborting. There was no difficulty in accessing Garden's home page, botanicalgarden.ubc.ca, or other websites. I do not have this problem on my home computer.

I was hoping to see how this browser/OS setup would handle the loading of images but didn't get very far. I wonder if the problems are related.

 

When was this? I am actively messing around with server settings trying to repair the image problem.

I've been updating a resources page for the last hour or so, not having any problems.
