Last February 24 was a rare Vancouver day - frozen and sunny. The ice was a few mm thick, and the wind made invisible cracks sing on the big pond in Nitobe Garden. It sometimes sounded like singing birds, and sometimes like cracking glass.
The garden is always a joy to be in.
