Silver Lace Vine

    A friend of mine has tried to start a plant for me from her Silver lace vine, did not take. Can you tell us how it might be done?...Myrt

    If there's multiple stems coming from the base maybe you can actually pull it apart (divide the crown).

    The climbing vine Silver Lace can be propagated by short cuttings, 4 inches long, taken with a slight heel of old wood in July and in August and inserted in a frame, or by cutting of ripened wood, 10-12 inches long, inserted out of doors in the fall. Timing is important with this vine. Good Luck. - Millet
