sick dogwood leaves

Discussion in 'Cornus (dogwoods)' started by dfw@twlakes.net, Jul 22, 2005.

  1. I have two dogwood trees, one with flat leaves and one with curly leaves. The one with curly leaves seems to be doing alright otherwise. Why are the leaves curly on the one tree? Does it have a deficiency?

Dogwoods often roll up during hot weather. Not enough information to say much about your trees.

dfw--do you know if both dogwoods are the same species?

Looking around here, I notice that my cornus florida has very curled leaves, but the native nuttali leaves are quite flat. Kousa leaves have a unique look that is different aqain, all within a few hundred feet of each other here!
