Last summer, some construction workers inadvertently cut off the water supply to our magnificent camellia and azalea forest on the side of our house, which had been planted 75 years ago and had been thriving. They were without water for weeks and weeks. By the time we noticed (we don't go in that area very often), all the azaleas were beyond saving, and about half of the camellias. Of the three very large camellias that are left (one is about 20 feet tall!), one is fine, but the other two didn't really flower this year, are sparsely leaved, and those leaves are curled in on themselves. We've been watering them vigorously now for about eight months. Is there anything we can do to save those two?

When lack of water is the problem watering is all you can do. The rest is in the hands of the gods.
