Hiya, I've been given this tree! Unfortunately, I have no idea what species it is, so I would appreciate if anyone could assist me with an identification so I can figure out how to look after it! All it said on the card was to keep it indoors, but after reading around I'm a bit dubious about that advice... It looks as though it is coming into bloom, and has fresh buds appearing (one of the flowers is white, with 5 petals, and measure about 8mm from the end of one petal to the end of the opposite petal). Chinese privet perhaps? Or, well, I have no idea really... (Sorry I'm not a very good photographer!) Thanks in advance.
