At Lyon Arboretum in Honolulu. The tiny pink flowers that look sort-of orchid-like are wrapped in the prettiest little white bracts with green veining.
Re: Shrub, racemes of orchid-looking pink flowers wrapped in green-veined white brac Looks like Justicia betonica. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=J...w&biw=1920&bih=967&sei=IAXDUJ3hEeuT0QXqq4CwBg
Re: Shrub, racemes of orchid-looking pink flowers wrapped in green-veined white brac Great, thanks. I'm writing about it as this beautiful gem of a flower, but I see it has an entry in "Weeds of Hawaii's pastures and natural areas: an identification and management guide". Common names water willow, squirrel's tail, white shrimp plant. I totally missed the shrimp thing. Family: Acanthaceae
