    This is a heritage photo and the identity of this shrub is not coming to me. Any help would be appreciated.

    ya, it probably is...I don't know why the light yellow colour was making me think that it wasn't.

    The only reason I would disagree with Forsythia is that everything looks too leafed out already. Thoughts?

    Looks like Cytisus to me as well.

    Possibly if it is an old photo the flowers may be white.
