Showy stuff in the Food Garden

    The Food Garden might have the most ornamental show in the whole UBCBG right now. How's this for colour?

    That's Brassica oleracea, as is this kale. I think I saw the cultivar name, but I didn't think I was interested.

    These broad beans, Vicia faba 'Windsor' have such beautiful flowers. I had no idea what they were or that bean flowers were so large, but there was a sign.

    I also didn't know Nigella damascena. It looked beautiful surrounding the beans, like so many blue diamonds.
