    Hi all

Tomorrow I have the opportunity to buy an A.P Firecracker. Am I right in thinking this is a red upright dissectum? I thought the Seiryu was the only upright dissectum?

It is between 3 and 5 years old I think and 3-4 ft tall. I have a Koto No Ito of a similar size. They should look good together.. Shouldn’t they?

Does anyone have experience of the Firecracker?

    Thanks in advance.

    Luke

Hi Luke, Acer Firecracker is a 'mound' forming maple and not an upright. It is a lovely tree none the less. The colour combination would look nice though. I tend to place my reds by my lime green leafed maples. But it's all personal choice.

Acerholic thanks again. I shall go and have a look at it. Perhaps it could live next to my Aureum then

    Thanks
