A new neighbor has recently completed the clear cutting of her 4 acres and it looks awful. I would like to get some shore pine seedlings from our local Conservation District to put up as a privacy barrier. Can anyone tell me how close to plant them so when they mature it will be a nice privacy barrier. Thanks

Space according to your idea of what height "mature" will consist of, with the spacing being a fraction of their height at that time--say 1/4 or 1/3 the height.
