Shining leaves plant/tree?

    Hi all,

    Was looking to know if there are trees similar to this one in the pic in NJ. In fact I was in Paramus Park recently I saw one very similar. Any help would be appreciated. Looking for something similar for NJ.

    Southern magnolia. The vendor should have had what it was written on the sign. Such specimens also often have informational cards hanging on them that are supplied by the grower.
