Identification: Shenandoah Forest Find

    Hello,

    I was wondering if anyone could help me identify this. I found this growing by itself on an off trail hike.

    The color really stood out to me, and unfortunately only got one good picture of it.

    Without any other information, I'd say it is Cortinarius violaceus.
