My mother-in-law has a pretty arrowhead leafed plant that was given to her by someone in Missouri. We live in Montana and this plant didn't die all winter. I have tried to find it and cannot. Does anyone know for sure what it is called.

    Thanks,
    Squibby

    Hello Squibby 95,
If it is white Allium then it would be a rather rare species called albidum but I looked at the photo and the leaves of white allium are definately not arrowhead shaped. They look more like the leaves of a forescate or giant chives. Also my info indicates albidum is indiginous to Europe and Asia. I will investigate further. A photo would be helpful.
    Regards, plantluver
