What do ya know about shade cloth?

I would like to leave that question as is, in the hopes that you would teach me all about it.

Buttt, anyways, do you think having white shade cloth is better then black or is red better then green?

Do you like forty percent absorptive cloth, or do you prefer fifty percent?

Has anyone ever tried the aluminum shade cloth when used outside or not in de green house?

Do you use a special type of shade cloth for seedlings?

    Thanks,
    rich

    Rich,

Personally, for my conditions here (long summer days and very hot) I tried last year with white shade cloth (75% shade); because I need "extra" protection in summer time. It'worked very well. I used this with wooden poles (easy and fast removal) so I keep most of my JMs covered during the hard part of the hottest/sunnier days; and remove it in mildy days, allowing some sun expousure. But again that's depends of your local weather conditions.
