Several Nova Scotia Species to ID. Fungi & lichens incl.

    Hi Folks,

    Having trouble IDing these common Nova Scotia species, some which I grew up with! Any help is appreciated greatly. Tips for plant ID beyond the usual clever Googling are appreciated. :)

    Edit:
    I now suspect the red berried plants are Cornus canadensis.

    The second is bunchberry, Cornus canadensis.
    The last is Spiraea tomentosa or similar.

    Excellent! Thank-you. :)

    I agree, the last is indeed Spiraea tomentosa. This became certain upon further Googling and comparisons with the full size image.

    First one looks like a Polytrichum

    Looks like the mushrooms may be impossible to ID without better photos / spore prints.
