    Sept is here when is a good time to star bringing the tropical girls inside? my oldest pothos is inside already and she has the summer colors, sometimes her white spots get yellowish, I call that summer colors. please share your opinion with me.. Thank.s GB

    I try to bring mine in when the temp. outside and inside the house are roughly the same. Like, now! Of course, the actual date varies a bit from year to year, depending upon the weather patterns. Depends on the individual plant, too: I leave my Christmas cacti out until the very last possible moment before they are frozen solid. Plants more tender come inside way before that.

    We've been having a cold spell here, so your question concerns a subject very much on my mind!

    One caveat to my first statement: my house does not have air conditioning.
