I bought a new Orange Hobiscus today, it is in one small pot but seem to have 3 main growths coming from the pot.

The one in the center is looks as if the roots are walking right out of the pot, Is it safe to seprate these plants, in my readings on here and other site that the Hibiscus roots can easily be stressed. If anything I am going to re pot the whole plant anyway, I'm sure it needs it if the roots look like the are trying to run away from the soil, thanks ahead of time

I've separated lots of hardy hibiscus with a sharp shovel.
Never tried it with tropical hibiscus.
