Okay so I was wondering how hard this would be to grow indoors in Colorado. I do have an HPS lamp which will help me but im not overly sure on the correct type of soil to use or any thing else. I think that this would make a fun addition to my garden but I have heard it can be hard to grow. Any info would be greatly welcomed!
I've never found any of the Fabaceae to be difficult to grow in the least. The key is soil that's a bit sandy and very free-draining. They'll do best on a 12-hours-on, 12-hours-off light cycle.
can any one suggest a good soil mixture for this plant i would like it to be as happy as possible. From what i understand it requires more of a sandy soil to live a full life. So how, and what should be used to mix in for its soil.
OK, I'll try and give you what's in my soils where I grow Mimosa. About 40% sand, 50% loam or composted material, 10% coir or peat.
