Went for a walk in a park yesterday and to my surprise, there was this maple with leaves fully developped. It is staked and must have been planted recently. None of the other maples have leaves, even the few Acer palm-oenum. The photo is not very good, but do you think it is Acer sempervirens, paxii, or other ?... I have a friend who lives close to the park so I'll take other photos next week. If it doesn't rain...
Good evening Alain, it does have the appearance and texture of Acer sempervirens and with the browning of the outer lobes IMO it is what you suggested.
Well, it does look alternate, but I had a really hard time telling from the pic. If it is a maple it's neither of the two you mention. Maybe this is what Acer undulatum looks like, ha! :)
