Wildflowers: Semi-arid spring flowers

    Dallas/ Fort Worth Texas, USA
    April 157a, looks like a gallardia with only disc flowers. The yellow six petal flower (DSCN5530c and 5538c) is less than 1/2 inch, starts as red bud, then yellow flower and finally turns white.
