Hello, I just wanted to say that I am pretty new to the succulent world and that I found that they some of the MOST interesting living things out there.

It all started when I was given a peace of AEONIUM and a Jade plant that started to root.. and at that point I was HOOKED!!

here are pictures of my little collection! Enjoy.

and also, i have a few questions about labeling some of my plants. some are from cuttings or some just had a price tag on it. soo im pretty unsure.

1)http://cjjulian.smugmug.com/photos/299715142_S3UmW-M.jpg - come kind of Opuntia

2)http://cjjulian.smugmug.com/photos/299715166_8odNY-M.jpg - 'Jet Beads' thats the name that I got it as.. but i don't feel confident about this name.

3)http://cjjulian.smugmug.com/photos/299715261_GpWDU-M.jpg - i know, very common.. but i never knew what it is called.

4)http://cjjulian.smugmug.com/photos/299715319_ALZvd-M.jpg - not sure what these are. ive got them as cuttings. Im assuming Pinwheel and something.. lol

5)http://cjjulian.smugmug.com/photos/299715295_z4Eyx-M.jpg - I actually found these in my yard.. they look very nice.. but i don't know what they are. Some kind of ECHEVERIA ?

    any information would be greatful.
    Thanks.

    Welcome to collecting! :D

    2. Don't know one in front, center. One in back seems to be Crassula tetragona.

    3. Aptenia cordifolia, Red Apple

    4. Aeonium haworthii & what looks like Sedum kimnachii from here.

5, Yes, Echeveria, possibly E. secunda.

I'm not into succulents much, but I wanted to compliment you on your very nice collection, and excellent pictures too!

Also, I forget to ask about another thing.. i have these greenish ground cover type plant. Not sure what they are. Its the two green ones standing straight up flanking the echiveria.

thanks again, getting to know what i really have gives me an idea on how i present them and getting them in a proper location around the house.

Those are Crassula muscosa, I believe (Watchchain, by some). They have very tiny, stinky flowers!

Yes, nice pix of all your plants! :)

Nice collection of plants --- yes they grow on you, don't they. Like pets, but easier to care for.
    ;)

    Thanks to all..

i again have another question, this plant that i got i believe was labeled wrong (maybe kids were going in and moving the tags around, who knows) but i really liked it.

here is the picture of it. I believe its a kind of Huernia instead of the tag saying it was a Hawthoria. I could be wrong and it can be some kind of cactus.. any help identifying this would be great.

    Thanks again!

Not Huernia or Haworthia, but looks like a Euphorbia (maybe E. trigona, but I don't have time at the moment to go investigate).
